Most arguments I hear pitting Disneyland against Walt Disney World revolve around which has the better 'Pirates' or 'Mansion' attractions. I don't recall there ever being a debate on which park has the best EMV (Enhanced Motion Vehicle) attraction. While I enjoy Dinosaur at Disney's Animal Kingdom, it just can't compare to the Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye at Disneyland Park.
To be honest, I am a huge Indiana Jones fan (first three films mind you, that fourth was just horrible) so it's not really fair to compare the attractions. I've also ridden Dinosaur countless more times than Indiana Jones (still remember when it was Countdown to Extinction) so it still has that very 'new' & thrilling feel each time.
I guess what I am saying is, that if Disneyland Park & Walt Disney World ever wanted to swap out EMV attractions, I would totally be ok with that :)
Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye
Adventureland - Disneyland Park
For this attraction, I wanted to try and capture a shot that showed off the motion & excitement of the 'adventure'. I attempted to shoot on-ride, but even with a fast lens it proved to be exceedingly difficult. So in the end, after viewing my shots I felt that this one summed things up best. I like that it shows the ride vehicle & the queue as well as motion blur of the guests and the lights. Just looking at it has me wishing for one more ride :)
Thanks for joining me on this Adventure. Please exit to the vehicle's right :)
