A single soul dwelling in bodies : the friendship

A single soul dwelling in bodies : the friendship

My Guess, About 90% of crowd that walk on NY Manhattan Streets on weekends carry some kind of camera equipment with em. and they are snapping shots. with thousands of photographs been taken at one place, how could the bond of friendship & family be overlooked?

Chinese New Year parade | San Francisco | the Year of the Snake | Feb 2013 | Portrait

Another image that i love, from the chinese parade in San francisco this february. I dint have to do whole lot of processing here, except brighting the subject a little bit. I was thinking of cloning the kids in the image, but that wouldhave taken away the reality of the shot, which i generally like to keep... brightened the eyes a little and removed the redness. kept the colors as they are. I could've worked on the headgear a bit but it isnt that prominent and I am lazy.

Festivity in the Mountains : Roopkund Trek Himalaya

Festivity in the Mountains : Roopkund Trek Himalaya

As Promised, I searched a few of my old flash drives for old folders, and pulled out couple of images to process. this one is from Roopkund Trekking Expedition in Sep Oct 2009, My first himalayan trek.. You all know how much I love parades and processions, both watching em and shooting, latter a lot more actually, for very obvious reasons.

this one I shot from the vehicle which was fast zooming to loharjung. I think we were in the last leg of our road journey from kathgodam to loharjung because it was late evening when I saw these pretty little girls all dolled up and walking with the idol of Durga. I think it must be one of the days of Navaratri festival perhaps the 9th day, a day before Dusshera. the Ramleela is also performed around these times, and sometime they have processions going on everyday, but this was small, or at-least the glimpse of it.

I added tiny motion blur to take away the distraction and add movement to the image, which was already present, but felt more like a blur.
