Day Seventy Seven

    77/365. God I can't wait for pancakes.

Random photo from the IHOP pool. This photo qualifies for today even though it feels like yesterday since it was taken quite a bit time after midnight.

strobist info: SB-900 & SB-600 both @ 1/4 on both sides of the ceiling. created sufficient light for the whole back room. triggered via PWii's.

It looks very cinematic...I like it...and the bokeh created by the lens really makes her pop up...definitely instant fave...

      Hey Dustin,
Your images are progressively improving week on week. Your competence using flash is now almost unparalleled across Flickr. It's really interesting to scan through you published images to see how your skill has grown over what must be said a very short period of time.
      I really enjoy your work.
      Keep it coming....

      Kind Regards....

It's fun how you can get the colors set to a way that makes this scene look like it's from anywhere but a cold lighted IHOP.

      ouch, I want pancakes now...

Looks like something out of a coffee commercial. I love it. How odd was that settling up your lights in the middle of an iHop though? And why am I asking rhetorical questions that likely won't be answered for a pic that is nearly a year old? :)

      Hmm...this was posted on my son's 1st birthday. :)

Michael, funny I was asking myself the same question tonight when I saw the image. After midnight. Who's gonna care, or notice. I've thought about doing this sort of thing so many times and hesitate figuring they'd throw me out of the place or the subject would call the cops.

But then again, no risk, no reward.
