dressed up for spring

dressed up for spring by .Manisha..
The Huckleberry is a tea house and café in downtown Louisville. You can't miss it because it is pale purple / lavender in color! It's one of my favorite places to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. My favorite is their all vegetarian garden burger, D's fave is their falafel sandwich and Medha loves their Mickey Mouse pancakes. I haven't gone wrong with anything I have ordered. And their teas are just fabulous!

The Huckleberry is owned by the same folks who own the Boulder Dushanbe Tea House. While I *love* Dushanbe for its interiors and decor, I prefer Huckleberry as it is warmer, cosier, and more friendly than the hustle-bustle at Dushanbe.

Fabulous shot, Manisha! The light dances so wonderfully across this photo! And Mickey Mouse Pancakes sound pretty good, too!

thanks! I only had a second to take the pic before I was yanked into the restaurant (why do you have to take pictures of "everything!" People are staring, Mumma!)

The next one is for you!!

Would love to have some Mickey Mouse pancakes for my Sat. morning breakfast. Sound like a nice cozy place.

they serve them for lunch, too! Medha was quite disappointed today as they are not included in the dinner menu!

yup! But we get at least one big snowstorm in March and a couple small ones in April. :-( The mountains got some fresh snow this last week. But it's great to see these colors after a drab cold winter!

you will see it sooner than we do! Our last frost is in mid-May and we get hammered by hail in that month ruining tender shoots that may have sprouted by then. (Mostly in my yard cos I forget to cover them!)
