We made sure, as good Nationals fans, to to get there right when the gates opened so we could see our phenom pitch his first big league (well, low "A" ball) game after Tommy John surgery. He did great, but our Suns lost (though we did beat the pernicious Grasshoppers in the next game of the doubleheader with a walk-off).
In this shot, I just love how his jersey has that sense of motion. News reports had his fastball at 96-98mph today.
