Blaming Eve

love this bit!

Why are we always blaming Eve? If you read the bible or a fan of religion or even just hear stories... You know Eve was deceived by a boy (Satan). She's was merely the first woman to believe some man and get tricked but certainly not the last. God went to Adam first and gave Adam rules, all Eve was guilty of was feeling incredibly stupid. But when Adam bit the damn apple (fruit) that's when everything went to hell (literally?). Good going Adam o'le chap. Now please can we stop blaming Eve for everything? K, thanks!

Satan is often referred to as a "He" in the bible like God is referred to as a he. Truthfully being spirits they would be genderless but so long as the bible insists on it's misogynistic overtones I think I can have a little leeway too. hehe. Although I agree with you generally speaking, it was a lot of finger pointing which is very human. I'm glad you liked the image, thank you. :D

Great concept. Attractrive and seducing, just like the story implies. Actually, and to be theologically accurate... the Christian God is ultimately the one to blame. Here's why:

God is all-knowing and has foreknowledge (at least this is commonly taught by most Christians). That means that the Fall of man HAD TO HAPPEN in order for the Son of Man to redeem humanity on the cross. The entire logic and sequential events of Christian theology rests on God creating a creature that HAD to fall into sin in order to be saved.

Unfortunately, this causes some philosophical conflict and causes division amongst some Christian camps. It challenges our notion of free will or it calls into question how God could foreknow tragedy before it occurs though does nothing about it.
