Sakura in spring time

closest thing to japan so far has been the ephemeral show of sakura along the canal in Neukolln- we managed to picnic for an entire week (viva working from home) and watch the amazingly fast changes of pink buds through to green leaves and flurries of falling petals first in a set I'm sure.

TapedConvo-Walls1-Skungivoids

Skungivoids, are a play on words stemming from the marine sea squirt commonly known as Cunjevoys. These live in colonies along the Australian coastline. My Skungivoids bloom from the streets and here they fit best in a corner just out of view but as part of the 'Taped Conversations' work.
