Day 53: Long Day

Another long day of meetings. When I get back to my hotel room I'm exhausted. At least the bed in this hotel is nice.

Now this is cool. Very carefully set up, I'm sure, but it looks SO natural. One of these days you'll have to tell us how long it takes you to prepare a shot like this.

This one took about 10 minutes of trying to figure out what I wanted to do for a shot. I then spent another 5 minutes figuring out where I could put the camera with my mini-tripod that would frame what I wanted. I then spent the next 10 minutes or so snapping shots with the self-timer, since I forgot my remote at home. After that, I took another five to ten minutes to pick out the shot I wanted to use, color correct it, and post it. So I guess this was about a half an hour of work. Many times it is MUCH shorter then that and sometimes it is longer -- it depends on whether or not I have a good idea to start with.
