On the south side of I-84, just west of Boardman, Oregon, there's a forest of poplar trees planted by the Potlatch company that runs for a couple miles along the freeway. (more info. from Potlatch's web site)
It's fascinated me every time I've driven by it and, finally, on the last day of our mini-vacation, I was able to stop and shoot a couple photos. There are so many trees in such close quarters that even the brightest sunlight can't get through.
This one looks better large.
Part of my 1/365 project: 1 photo per day for 365 days.
