I see that little avatar at the top of the screen. Hopefully we'll be getting some new avatars on PSN soon. It's disappointing that they have never changed :( I like to be able to have SOME kind of online identity, and so far it is not possible on PS3.

Otherwise, the new store looks Hot.

slicecom - wasted space on the side is probably so it is useable on standard 4:3 screens - i would bet that stuff just gets cut off for those, while us 16:9 folks get spiffy colors on the side. woo!

kurtzenter - they have already said that it is not web-based, it is an application. the look is all based on how they chose to make it. not being web-based just means it'll be a lot faster! (hopefully)

im bummed that there are no music and movies tabs though... i cant believe sony is taking this long to integrate their own content (sony pictures, sony music) for download. seems like a no-brainer to me.
