allen's hummingbird

    A friend watched the process of hatching to fledging in her neighbor's backyard and brought this nest to me to photograph. I will donate it to either CAS or MZV. I think it is an Allen's by the shape. Most of the Anna's I have seen have been flatter, less cone-shaped. I photographed it in pieces and stitched it together in PS. So with the Leaf back and the combination of pixels, the resolution is stunning.
