of rules. A metaphorical playing field is said to be level if no
external interference affects the ability of the players to compete

There are no such thing as a level playing field in tourism, it's more like a battlefield. What goes is choose a strategy and fight for it. But be generous and work together with others (Two is a hundred percent more than one).

That said, we should be asking the powers that be why tourism doesn't provide a level playing field for SMEs. In sport, a level playing field is a must have. Our aspiration in tourism should be the same.
