Mama & Ashvi
My mum and sister on holiday at Sigiri Village Hotel. I asked Ashvi to behave so I can take a nice photograph of them... she smiled sweetly and stuck two finger "horns" up behind Mama's head. The frangipani (araliya flowers) is something we always do at this place, it's practically a family tradition!

Banana lady
This lady runs a small shop by the roadside on the road to Dambulla. Despite their limited means, she is always cheerfully helpful every time I see her.

Garden Buddha
This photo was taken at one of the coolest eco-gardens I've ever seen. Everything was so natural and beautifully overgrown, with little details like this Buddha statue. Eco-harmony at it's best!
