Gustave Caillebotte @ Brooklyn Museum
Checked out the new Gustave Caillebott exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum. I've never been a big fan of impressionists, but really enjoyed this exhibit. It was a great escape from wet grey March day. Caillebott painted many idilic scenes of people and the water -- boating, fishing, and swimming. Beautiful colors and brush strokes that seemed to give the water and the people movement and life.
