The former Wansong Academy, place of the romantic relationship of two butterfly lovers*, nowadays is a mountainous park. I discovered this lovely house nestled harmoniously into the surrounding rocks and forest hidden up on top of the mountain the park is situated on. A beautiful and peaceful place, and the light was just perfect. It was still too early in the year for any butterflies, however.

*The Butterfly Lovers is a Chinese legend of a tragic love story of a pair of lovers, Liang Shanbo (梁山伯) and Zhu Yingtai (祝英台), whose names form the title of the story. The title is often abbreviated to Liang Zhu (梁祝) and often regarded as the Chinese equivalent of Romeo and Juliet.[Wikipedia]

I really like this place - I´m looking forward to taking a boat here again, as soon as I see the next interesting cloudy sky.
