macro of a sheep's vertebrae. This is a bit of a strange souvenir from a snow sculpting team many years ago. One of my co carvers thought that we needed something unique to hang on our name tag lanyards. Barb was right.. .definitely unique and definitely odd. Barb passed away a couple of years ago now and I still have this interesting bit of the past that means absolutely nothing to anyone other than me.

The local Wawanosh Wetlands conservation area, our first real snow of the winter and the forecast looks like it won't last more than a few days. When I got up this morning there was absolutely no snow on the ground and within 3 hours there were several inches everywhere.

You Are Here...The blue marble lost in the vastness of space. OK...the 'imagined' vastness of space since my universe is only about 3" across. ;-)

2012-027...Trying to dial in Fibber McGee & Molly but for some reason I only get stations with wailing, screaming, and a disembodied voice intoning BUY, BUY, BUY.... Where are Jack Benny, Gracie Fields, The Shadow, Ma Perkins...... It's my guess that only the Shadow knows!!....AND that 95% of the people reading this won't 'get' that last line.

Can't believe I've manged to make it to 26 of 366. Nipper and his Howlers listen to their latest Direct To Disc recording on the highest tech equipment they could find. The general consensus is that it has a good beat but it's hard to bite to.
