I like the potato chip cookies, I think the chips are crushed finely so you can't really tell that they're inside. One of my aunts made them with green food coloring for our St Patricks Day party.

The Sauerkraut Cake sounds interesting too. It kind of makes you wonder why someone ever got the idea to put sauerkraut into a cake mix... but then again, they did it with apples, zucchini, pumpkin and lots of other stuff. The daily challenge group sounds like fun.

I haven't had the Sauerkraut Cake - hopefully there's enough cocoa powder & sugar that the bitterness goes away. I'll have to try it some time and not tell anyone the secret ingredient.
It makes me think of that Tomato Soup cake - which seems weird but I guess it works somehow.

I've learned that the best recipes on these cards and in the old cookbooks have the most stains on them.
