My Brain on MRI

My Brain on MRI by CaptPiper.
I had an MRI on Monday and afterwards they gave me the large sheets of negative images and said, "This is yours."
Well, what are you going to do with it? Besides show it to your doctor, I mean.

(, in case you're curious, the reason I had the MRI is because I've had a few severe dizzy spells. My doctor wanted it done, she said, to rule out anything serious. Probably just an inner ear thing.)

The inner woman. But has she revealed more of herself here or in the photo of her feet and shoes? Probably it's my computer, but that one on the lower left looks like a stack of cereal boxes. Or maybe that Quaker Oats person.

In the lower left one I used a filler pattern already in the Adobe program - not so smart as to think of tiling the Quaker Oats guy, who would have been perfect! I wouldn't know how to do that anyway. I tried numerous times to layer one photo over another and couldn't figure it out - in the Adobe program.

I'll explain more about it later. Right now I have to take my daughter to get her drivers test!!! Argh!! She's like a cuckcoo clock. "Mother, we have 45 minutes." "Mother, we have to leave in 35 minutes." Mother, we are leaving in 20 minutes..."

Could you point out the flickr cortex in here? The flickrbellum, maybe? I've always liked your photographs but I knew you had a great mind, too (and now I can prove it). :-)

MRIs. Now everyone is going to want one.

And a new phase of life begins. One in which a nice long stay in a motel in a distant city where the cable reception is good might be the only solution. Brain scans every fifteen minutes, too.

You should ask for the raw files (DICOMs). You can get some pretty amazing images with free programs like Osirix.

Please consider adding to Tomography pool. Thanks!

They hustled me through so fast when I had my MRI in 2002.
I would have liked a simliiar offer. Offered me the option of buying my brain pictures for $50. Maybe one day. Cool image.
Best wishes. Cheers!
