four rows of the strip quilt

what can fit on the floor of my living room at the moment. all the blocks are finished (it's 6 blocks by 6 blocks, each to be nearly 12" square, for a total of 36 altogether). when complete, it will be *about* 6 x 6 feet, a tad smaller actually b/c i had to trim off some edges to make each block perfectly square.

i'm laying them out on the floor to see how the whole thing is going to look, and arrange the blocks for a nice distribution of the fabrics throughout.

next step? sew the blocks together! a lot of progress has been made. but so much left to do (making the quilt backing, then the sandwich, then the quilting...and finally, the binding). who knows when it will *officially* be done!
