zig zag quilt

just finished this today. started piecing it earlier this year, can't remember when. as with all the quilts i've made so far (not many!) it's a mix of vintage and new fabrics, and fabrics of differing weights (swiss dots, voiles, calico weight cotton, pique) and textures. this one's about queen size or maybe a bit smaller.

i started this one because i liked how other people's zig zag quilts looked. but i didn't like their tutorials (i wanted mine to be a certain size, etc.) so i made a mockup on paper and figured out the math from there. each full square is about 6 or so inches finished.
