splatters

i've always been a big fan of paint splatters...on canvases, walls, floors, and...on people's clothes.

i walk by this art-making space on folsom on the way to yoga. seeing all this color splattered around randomly always makes me smile.

oh. i love it. i save all of my used palettes that i can't bear to scrape off - i'll just get some new glass and save the old ones for inspiration. there's a certain madness of ingenious to unconscious movement of paint, like on a palette or the floor.
