Bokeh Snow Last Night my husband and daughter spent 9 hours stuck in traffic for a 15 mile commute.
Our oldest daughter is having heart surgery this morning. Not as awful as it sounds. They are going in through a vein with a catheter and then scope around her heart until they find what they need to fix. She has supraventricular tachycardia. Her heartbeat has been as fast as 220 beats per minute at rest. Wish us luck.

She just went into surgery, another update will be posted around 11:00

She is now sedated and catheters are in place, getting ready to begin
the surgery

She is in recovery. When they went in her heart they found that her
problem was not where they thought it was. Her problem was on the
right side, instead of the left side, so they had to go through the
wall of her heart to the other side. it took longer than expected.
Instead of a 98% cure rate, she now has a 66% cure rate. Only time will tell if they were able to cure the problem.
She's tired, but doing fine. Bedrest for the weekend and baby aspirin therapy for a while to prevent clotting.

Best wishes. It's funny... I saw the pic, and before I read the title I thought it was odd that I was feeling tension when it seemed like a peaceful scene. Maybe the starkness of the black and white? All I know is my heart speeds up just looking at the photo.
