Paddy field

    I rode out on a motorbike into the countryside, looking for some caves I had heard about. I rounded a corner on the Asia highway and headed off down a dirt path in what I thought was the right direction.
    The rain in the 'rainy season' is pretty ubiquitous, but it occasionally stops. A break in the cloud cover made me stop and take this shot.

      I tend to think that this would likely have been better-expressed through color. As it stands, it's lacking in contrast. The "composition," leaves me a bit bored, as well -- which would likely be improved by a presence of color. Can you upload a color version for comparison?

      Maybe, the upper third of the picture is good in black and white - so crop this by the half of the picture. I like as you the dramatic cloud and hill part :)
