060325-N-2653P-246 (March 25, 2006) Afghanistan Pakistan Border Station at Torkhem, Afghanistan -- U.S. Marines (pictured here is Lance Corporal France A. Mahabub, 3rd Platoon, 1st Battalion 3rd Marine Division He is Muslim) set security for police investigators at the site of an IED explosion close to the Afghanistan-Pakistan border control station at Torkhem, Afghanistan. The fuel truck exploded without injury thanks to Afghanistan border police finding the explosive device during routine checks soon enough to clear the area. U.S. Marines from Forward Operating Base Torkhem provide security for international police advisors in Afghanistan who are training Afghanistan Border Police.Photo by JO1 (SCW/SS) James G. Pinsky
