Fire in the sky, Seattle

The house is one of those famous Seattle houseboats. You know, like where Tom Hanks lives... :-)

Fire in the sky curtesy of the Fourth of July fireworks.

Added to Cream of the Crop group as personal favorite.

This is on Lake Union in Seattle. No filters, the red is from the fireworks themselves. I did however use Neat Image to remove high ISO noise.

Great color and wonderful capture of the smoke and raining sparkles but also getting silhouettes of the people on the houseboat in the foreground really makes this photo work! Too many shots of fireworks are just the fireworks surrounded by empty space (boring!). Adding the foreground objects really makes this a more interesting shot! Great job.
