Voices for Creative Nonviolence is sponsoring a march from Chicago, Illinois, sight of the violent Democratic 1968 Democratic Convention to St. Paul, Minnesota, soon to be the scene of 2008 Republican Convention.

The walk remains the same but the walkers change... but not all of them. The trip from Chicago to St. Paul and the RNC will attract a lot of different walkers along the way. While some will join the trip for a day or just a few miles these eight are in it for the long haul. From left to right they are Mike Miles, Paul Melling, Mary Dean, Dan Pealson (in the orange shirt), Alice E. Gerard, Tim Brody, Joshua Brollier, and Mary Kelly.
