I still have kitchen cabinets just like that! *smiles*

I love, love this shot... I am such a sucker for things with history... Can you even conceive of the meals and stories shared in this room?? ....Ahhh, it blissfully boggles my hopelessly right-brained imagination.

(Mind if I stay awhile? I've got my own coffee....)

Thank you your comments Cilest, Matt and Greeny. I like the design of old kitchen cabinets like these Greeny, they have a nice functional style to them. You are welcome to stay as long as you like, but please clean up after yourself, the last person left quite a mess from the look of things.

your bronica kungfu is solid - especially Great Salt Lake. given that the d70 and bronica are two different creatures, what are your thoughts on the output of the two?

Thank you Ty. Working with the Bronica certainly is much different then working with my D70. The Bronica is best used on a tripod or else camera shake is be a problem and as it doesn't have a built-in light meter, metering must be done with a handheld unit. For that purpose I have a Gossen Luna Pro and meter off a gray card.

On a roll 120 I am limited to 12 exposures or 24 exposures on 220. Knowing that limitation I try to make each shot count.

Considering the output of the two cameras I think the Bronica does produce better images. The film has much greater resolution then the 6MP output from my D70, and the differences in detail are quite apparent. However, for all practical purposes, my D70 is better suited for most of the photography I tend to do.

Though the primary reason I haven't taken more photographs with the Bronica is because I don't have a good tripod. When I stop finding other ways to spend my money I'm going to buy a one and shoot more with the Bronica.
