My first photo of a Grey Wolf in the wild U.P. In the past 15 years, I've crossed paths with 4 Grey Wolves in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan...and the other day, just after taking pics of 2 Sandhill Cranes, this one emerged from the woods about 150 yards away. Unfortunately, I had my standard 18mm-200mm lense attached, so the pic had to be cropped 300%, making it a bit grainy, and not that great. But, it's my first photo of a Grey Wolf in the wild and he didn't stick around to let me take anymore. I snapped a couple quick shots as he was turning to run, then looked down for literally 1 second to switch my lense, and when I looked back up, he was gone.....gone like a ghost.
