20080530 :: bento diary :: tier 2

very frustrating hardboiled egg death star... i was trying to add texture, but it got way too dark and way too reddish brown. oops. to make matters worse, when i took the photo i didn't pay attention to the direction of the superlaser's shadow. argh!

thanks guys, i appreciate the affirmations... i'm starting to suspect i've passed the point of no return, and i will slowly become one of those people who doesn't leave their house because they're so crazy. when people question my creations, i'm going to tell them that jamesy and rob said it's ok. i'm ok. heh.

This is great! I love the contrasts between the cheese and the rice. Your rice seems smoother or darker than mine. It must be different quality. If you ever wanted to try the DS again maybe you should try using Earl Grey tea instead of rice water. Great Job!

pin, i did lower the exposure a little in photoshop because the stormtrooper was blinding... that's probably it. good idea on the earl grey!! i wish i had thought of that.

hey! glad you like my bentos. :) i don't recall how i found your post, to tell you the truth. it was either via google or through a referrer link on flickr.

to find the referrer stats, do the following:
when you're on the flickr homepage there is a link below your recent activity that reads 'More recent activity' - click on that. it'll bring you to a more extensive recent activity page... look to the far right of the screen and you'll see Your Stats (Most views yesterday). if you click on the link to the right of one of your photos you'll get to the stats page. you can click on any one of the dots to see stats/referrers for a given day. it's pretty cool! i look at them every once in a while to see who is linking to me (or using my photos without permission... just trying to be careful).

i linked to your blog post on my blog (http://sandwicharchitecture.wordpress.com), but i'm guessing you know that already and that's why you asked...
