Pingomatic.com
 Requests per second to the RPC part of pingomatic, this doesn't count the core website. When you add in the regular website hits and the API hits, it comes to well above 8.6 million hits per day. On one box.
I had forgotten to look at this for the past few months, kinda surprised me. Comments

Also since this is just for the RPC system it doesn't include images, CSS files, or any things that usually drive "hits" high. Every request is a ping that requires several DB queries and contacting 12+ services downstream.
