Going to try this as my primary HD on my desktop first, then if it works well order one for my laptop.

So, I am not sure that will work well for long. Evidently there is a finite number of reads and writes for these cards. Unlike a hard drive you can access thousands of times per second, these weren't designed for HD type R/W.

nice - and Alex, you're right that there is a finite limit, but given an average HDD usage that limit holds up to around the limit of failure of a regular drive anyway (a little longer actually I think).
