Are the shelves under to the left also from IKEA?

The white drawered unit under the left side of the desk itself? No, that's a cheap taboret I got at Sam Flax years ago.

I'm counting two extra top shelves and five side shelves. That's pretty intense.

Your count is correct. Intensity 'R Us.

I've been using this setup almost three weeks now, and those "extras" have been wonderful. Helps keep my actual work surface uncluttered, yet everything is in easy reach.

Hi, I have a question about the very top shelf. Is that just a board resting on two Jerker side shelves, or is that an actual Jerker shelf that is attached to the desk?

(weeks later...) As the linked story above details, I had to "make do" for a bit while accessories were being shipped, like the shelf. So I got a piece of fiberboard and cut it to size, then used long screws to secure it in place (I used 2.5 inch drywall screws run through the holes Jerker intends for bolts). When the real shelf was delivered, it had the extensions for the frame as well, so I decided to add the extensions and keep the fiberboard shelf at the top to hold lighter stuff (and it's now got a metal facing on the front for magnets to hold notes, photos, etc.).

Any weight/flexing issue with that first shelf with the three monitors?

Not with the 2x4 block I had placed underneath the center of the shelf back then. Today it's a 17" LCD and a 24" LCD, so weight isn't an issue.
