Rotterdam, Erasmusbrug

Last night we were in Rotterdam when darkness fell. Lights went on, the city never sleeps..

The pink light is a project asking attention for women with breastcancer. Even without any project such colours add something to the surroundings, giving depth to the picture.

The boat is a watertaxi, in Rotterdam wellknown to bring you across the water to some interesting places like Hotel New york. www.hotelnewyork.nl/eng/information/index.html

This hotel was formerly the check in of The Holland-America line. The place to be for immigrants to America. Today it is a hotel-restaurant, a very popular place in Rotterdam.

Meer een maandje half Europa. Nadat we Duitsland/Zwitserland uitgezet zijn omdat ze ons bij de NS de verkeerde treinkaarten verkocht hadden, zijn we doorgegaan in Frankrijk. Die foto's heb ik helaas nog niet uigezocht. Ik ben nu nog met Dresden bezig.

prachtige foto!, ik heb ook redelijk wat foto's van de erasmus vanaf mijn oude appartement en vanaf t havengebouw, zelfs vanaf t dak van t kpn gebouw, maar deze is heel mooi, geweldig licht.
alleen... je horizon staat scheef, (makkelijk recht te zetten met iPhoto/Photoshop... ssst, niemand vertellen)
