Sunrise over Quidi Vidi Gut, St. John's, Newfoundland. Another small fishing village within the city of St. John's. It still contains a number of fishing stores and stages.
Websters Dictionary defines "Gut" in this application as a narrow passage; also: a narrow waterway or small creek, applying to this small passageway out into the North Atlantic.
