For about 4 days at the end of September, 2010, we had some of the most beautiful clouds and sunsets I've ever seen in southern California. This was shot during that time at Crescent Bay, Laguna Beach. For a few minutes as the sun went down the sky just lit up, and the clouds near the sunset turned a deep, bright orange red while the rest of the sky stayed blue. It was amazing to be there.
This is a manual blend of two exposures made with a Canon 7D and Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 @ 11mm and f/8.
