Me and Sean Galbraith made the trip that every photog in Toronto has already done (my first time, though!), only we brought flashes and gels. 20 minute exposures my derriere.

We held our flashes in our hands, set the camera to bulb, and flashed gels in the scene.

Sean and I collaborated on this shot (his cam battery was dead, silly man).

Little light painting in this one. Sean was inside the structure flashing red gels through the holes. I flashed some reds and window greens on the outside.
