Phoshi's Desktop :o
So I was bored, shoot me.
The desktop is all samurize, the two buttons at the top open a process list and RSS list configs, respectively, the rest is pretty self explanatory. Feel free to ask questions, I guess.
Py.phzzz.co.uk/Files/desktop.jpg for a full-res image. Darn flickr, get off my lawn!

Go away, colour, nobody actually likes you.
That's a total lie, by the way, I've already changed the wallpaper back to something with colour. Was depressing, but whatever, I'm waiting for a large download to complete, and I've nothing to do, so I'll ramble at you lot.
I heard complaints my last shot was too small, so I took the liberty of uploading elsewhere, too:
www.py.staticfire.co.uk/screenshot.jpg
Having icons on FF didn't really go with the theme, so I learned ResHacker (I did this at 3AM. Why can't I be that productive when I'm awake enough for it to matter? :/). It was actually really easy, with the exception of actually making a blank icon, which I had to break out photoshop for. 3AM, remember?
Anyway, the software in use here is:
Samurize, for the sidebar, and school timetable (It also highlights the next day, if it's a school day, which I think is kinda neat ^_^)
Miranda-IM, for the IRC channels (They're not dead, I /clear'd), but it's also running MSN, AIM, and an FTP client for quick uploads.
Firefox, running the NASA night launch theme, with an autohide bookmarks bar, through stylish (I -could- edit userchrome.css, but stylish is easier)
Notepad is notepad, with the icon ResHacked out (And about 4 different backups - I'm not losing notepad to my own stupidity >_>)
foobar2000 is the music player, rolled up with WinRoll 2, an absolutely indispensable program I love to pieces. (http://www.palma.com.au/winroll/) It's using 116kb of RAM right now, and lets you roll up a window by right clicking the titlebar, set always on top by middle clicking the close button, send to bottom by right clicking the close button, go configurable% transparent by middleclicking the titlebar. That's basically it, but it does what it does, and it does it flawlessly.
Executor is the launcher, sitting there ready to bend to my every whim.
The OS is Vista, the VS is Mongoose (http://sweatyfish.deviantart.com/art/Mongoose-114754291)
The shell is emerge desktop (emergedesktop.org), with only an autohide system tray in the bottom right of my primary monitor
Unseen apps:
Autohotkey. I love my AHK script, it's beautiful:
Minimise on alt-F2, maximise/restore on alt-F3, kill current window's process on control-alt-F4, switch to/open/open a new tab in/highlight the URL bar of firefox on caps lock, pause/play foobar on (Left+Middle click, pause/break, winkey+alt(in that order, alt+winkey stops it), printscreen takes a printscreen, opens paint, pastes it in, saves it to C:\Temp\screenshot.jpg (because I'm too lazy to write a real path), closes paint, then opens fileZilla, letting me connect to my FTP and upload it (Because when was the last time I printscreened without wanting to upload?). Control+Printscreen printscreens as normal.
Insert maximize/restores, alt+left click moves a window, alt+right click resizes a window. I have hotstrings for all my emails and passwords (For example, py[notpartofit]@ expands to phazon_yoshi@hotmail.co.uk, which is nice, because I'm a lazy git.
The todo list is our very own Gina Trapani's todo.sh, updated through Executor (I have a keyword as t, which sends Cygwin t&the rest of the string, so I can append, do, prepend, move, ls, whatever.) If I need more power, a command window pops up on ¬, and closes by the same token.
It's all really easy to do, autohotkey has a really simple syntax (Modifier, key:: action), but it's also incredibly powerful (:*:]d::
FormatTime, CurrentDateTime, dd/mm/yyyy h:mm:ss tt
SendInput %CurrentDateTime%
return)(That expands ]d to the current date/time)
Samurize is a fantastic tool, too, the GUI editor makes it really simple to use, and the plugin architecture, and built in meters, make it stupidly powerful (HDD meters are %free, temperature, whether it's being access right now, and whether my HDD's SMART readings are displaying bad things)
I'd be more than happy to help anyone do something (So long as it's within my ability, I'm not great), and answer any conceivable question about my setup you could ask (With the possible exception of "What's your VPN password?")

Right-i-o.
Sorry for the small size, my resolution is apparently too large, so please click full view :)
My desk is nothing special, far from it, but whatever.
The launcher is Executor (Executor.dk), and it's running without a skin (Still looks yum)
Browser is Firefox, with an autohide bookmarks bar where my back/forward buttons (also autohiding), and refresh/stop (Yes. Autohiding) buttons live.
IM Client is Miranda-IM, running IRC there, connected to 2 servers, with the colours tweaked slightly.
Sidebar is Samurize, absolutely nothing complex there. The to-do list is outputting Gina's todo.sh with the batch file
"@echo off
C:
chdir C:\cygwin\bin
bash --login -i -c 't ls'"
Outputs it nicely.
Most of the other plugins are available from the PluginPak on the main site, nothing special there. I'll list the clickables in notes or something, too.
If you have any questions about anything, feel free to ask, and I'll answer. VS is called "NEWPAGE", OS is Vista.
Boot time 30ish seconds, usable from the instant you see the desktop (Only my AHK script and sam configs load, foobar2k can be open within 32 seconds of boot, Firefox 33. Yes, I timed it. Yes, I'm a nerd.)

Yoshi!
Yoshi!
I think the only thing this warrants is a ":3"
Nothing special, but I do love the way that wallpaper fits with my monitors.

What is love QuestionMark
Just a quick shot.
Someone asked me for my configs, so I thought I'd throw 'em out here too :)
py.staticfire.co.uk/Something.rar
It's a collection of images and .sams, you'll have to set all of the image paths yourself, but the plugins should go to the right place. If anything doesn't work, call me, and I'll try my best to fix it (:s)
