This is where I attended Liturgy this morning. The keep was built in the 11th century.

Interesting that the deacons' doors and the Royal Doors have been replaced by curtains. Is this typical in Arab Christian churches?

It seems fairly common here. I don't know why or when the practice started. I noticed that the cathedral in Homs had Royal Doors, but they were wide open, so all that could be seen from the nave was the curtain.
