Well done, it has that dizzy motion feel to it. I have yet to master panning, but I should practice more often when you can get photos like this.

i am not ignoring it, it just participates in giving a sense of the action. freezing the image does not convey motion nearly as well as panning

When I try to shot something like this photo, my main subject is blurred too. But the girl in your photo is sharp. How can I do this?

simple enough, use a longer exposure (10th of a sec maybe) and "think" about what you want to have in focus... and follow the subject while you shoot, even though you cannot see it (mirror is up). it is called panning.
