Cloud Tower (Tumblr Loves This Photo)

    Newer Older

I'd just left the 3am "Dark Knight Rises" show and saw this.

*Note*: This shot has been incredibly popular with dozens of Tumblr pages in the past couple of months according to my stats. Any Flickr/Tumblr users...could you tell me why? I'm curious as to how it ended up there.

That little T icon (next to the F and Share thing,) seems to let me post it to tumblr. You can probably turn it off, but when posted, the image links back to this page, so you at least get credit and traffic. I just posted it to my tumblr just to test it. I'll see how popular it is, but I only have 17 followers right now, so I usually only get a few reblogs. The reblogs are people posting my post to their tumblr.

Actually, never mind, I took it down. I'm a little confused about if I can remove the photo from everyones' reblogs by deleting my original post. I don't have a ton of experience with tumblr and I don't want to orphan your photo where I can't remove it, so I'm deleting the post before someone reblogs it.

Oh it's cool, the links don't bother me at all. I'm unfamiliar with Tumblr so I didn't know how the whole reblogging thing worked. It just surprised me that so many hits were coming from Tumblr blogs and I was just curious as to how that worked.
