Another from my trip to Death Valley last month. These are my tracks as I walked up to this vantage point. I looked back and shot this hand-held, then took cover for a while. I had to put an Optec Rainsleeve on my gear to keep the blowing sand out. I was picking sand out of my hair for days :)
This is a multiple exposure blend using only the highlights from the second image for the bright portion in the upper right. (this technique is explained and demonstrated in my image editing videos, available from my website which can be accessed through my profile)
