Were Angels dare to tread

Were Angels dare to tread by phill.d.
A never seen before sight of the Angels that adorn the top of the organ. A dangerous endeveour ensued to reach this precarious position. One false move and instant death awaits the tongue in cheek at this point :-)

I was trying to get a shot of this last time I was there, but my little compact wouldn't get anything worthwhile from ground floor. Well done for getting up there Phil. Was it easily accessible?

Hi johnny and High pit. You can get up here via the internal section of the organ. There are 2 levels inside. accesible via narrow ladders. This last section to the angels is via a tight rope type beam. There are cross pieces tying the external facade in. Very carefully you can use them to get close up to all three Angels. It is high up and not good for photography or walking.
