The fancy colours of the ground level look better viewed from above. It also makes the arches easier to view.

Yes it was pretty good up there. Not good for photos though. I was clinging on for dear life but still kept the camera shake at bay :-)

Great! The engineers knew their sums didn't they, when you study the arches on zoom, overlapping buttresses on the pillars to the left of the angel, no sign of cracks or damage due to twisting forces ,on the arches..
