A WINTER'S ROSE
"Even if you close back the curtain of Oz,
I will tie it's silver cord with a rainbow.
If you smash the looking glass in a fit of rage,
I will mend the fragments,
of the broken pieces.
U could let a clouded veil cascade over your eyes again,
Yet I will be the darkness that comforts, a Thousand Lakes of Wisconsin,
Every time you stumble & fall.
I will open a window and a door, at the end of the hall.
If you slide down a spiraling stairwell,
I will be the marble statue of Auguste Rodin,
waiting patiently at the bottom,
to catch you,
a flow-er fro-ZEN in time,
If logical rigid numbers suddenly march into sentences,
and intuitive love letters add up like dance re-mixes,
into one magical formula,
You could vomit the awakening bitterness of red pills,
and spit them out like mud back in the face of flying pigs,or throw them up like echoing screams, seeds tossed into canyons and rivers of concrete,Yet I will cleanse your lips with November rain,
and soften the bristles from the briars of pain,
Don't you realise ?
That even though we split in two,
That you are the four seasons.
Nature is, a perfect reflection of you,
Just know that you will always be,
the parade of drum percussions, lifetimes of heart beats,
a butterfly's kiss on a rose, is what you'll always be I suppose,
the soft petal re-minders that breathe new life into me,
a lion king's pride, a Sphinx nose,
a hawk's red-tail feathers,
& a WINTER'S ROSE."
