Over a week ago at the King's Head on Upper St, Islington.
I enjoyed it, but I'd have enjoyed it more if I'd known more about musicals. It's the same story told five times, each time in the style of a different kind of musical. The Andrew Lloyd-Webber was funny but obvious, and although I know nothing about Cabaret, the final piece, in that style, was really nicely done. One chap in particular, playing the landlord, was very good.
But still, I felt a bit short-changed, paying £25 and ending up with a cramped seat that pointed directly away from the stage (we had to straddle them backwards).
