      Phil, may I use this on my Emacs page with credit shown and link to here or whereever you like? Looks like EmacsSpeak to me. Do you use voice output? I've been wanting to get into that myself

      You're right, it's EmacsSpeak code (from the book Beautiful Code). I don't use it myself.
