Belle has very beautiful hazel eyes but when the light hits them just right they light up and look even more impressive. Here I changed the picture from color to Black and White and it made the effect stand out even more...

I really like the shots that are not planned for but that turn out great! Here I placed a flash light beneath this tulip and as I saw the inside of the tulip light up I thought it would make for a great picture... The shot was taken hand held and I was surprised how sharp the details in the flower came out.

This shot took forever to get, lots and lots of attempts... I used my Nikon D7000 here with my Nikon SB-700 Flashgun. I put a Blue filter on the Flashgun which gave this tone to the picture.

This night I thought I was doing a photoshoot with another girl and Lisa offered to fill in and was willing to take pictures with me after she had just met me. Thank you so much Lisa! For a night that was completely improvised, the photoshoot went really well.
Here I used my Nikon D7000 with my Nikon 35mm f/1.8 lens and also off camera and hand held my Nikon SB-700 external flash.

What a great day this was! What a complete professional this model is! She endured the cold, the lake water, the wind, the early morning shoot all in the name of allowing me to learn some new techniques in photography.
