The first Gibbon!

Early in the morning, we already heard several gibbon families singing through the rainforest in Thailand. I got so excited because it was only the second day of our holiday and I never had seen a gibbon in the wild before. With a small group and an excellent guide we had a terrific jungle trek for about three hours. Here we came across one of the gibbon families. It was just amazing to see my most favourite apes!
We stayed there for quite a long time and enjoyed it so much to see them swinging from one tree to another while they were singing so beautiful.
Again, an awesome experience which I won't forget...

Maar ook de gibbons zijn, net als de orang oetans, zeer bedreigd en vaak slachtoffer van de illegale handel.

Ik hoop nog heel vaak van je prachtige foto's te mogen genieten.
