Karst: Clark Creek, Lost Valley

Karst: Clark Creek, Lost Valley by pfly.
Clark Creek, near Lost Valley Campground, Arkansas. Looking down the creek from the cave-riddled cliffs. The creek emerges from many springs and caves, makes a brief attempt to fill the creek bed, but quickly drains back underground, leaving the creek bed dry very quickly. A strange place; karst. I camped here on the way to Appalachia. It's in the Buffalo National River area, Ozarks.
