It was a beautiful Aurora in Lake Myvatn area last night. This shot was taken in our great Myvatn Nature Bath. The Northen light was flying over the helathy blue water who is comming from underground.

We had some snow now, the trees are heavy and it is hart to walk around unless you are skiing.

The sun are very low now here in Lake Myvatn now and the day is very short, only 4 hours, but it can be realy beautiful.
The mountain you see is Mt Bláfjall and Mt. Sellandafjall and the snow in on frosen Lake Myvatn

One old from the construction in the hydro powerplant Kárahnjúkar. It is lot of steel in the concrete.

The Nature Reserve Dimmuborgir, „The Dark Castles”, are among the most visited and admired spots on lake Myvatn.
Dimmuborgir is a beautiful palce to visit and amazing at this time of the year.
The Dimmuborgir are also the home of the Icelandic Yule Tide Lads and their parents.
